A co-founder of The Source Alliance, Bill has thirty eight years of packaging industry experience.  His background includes senior management experience with Packaging Corporation of America, Reynolds Metals Company, Sonoco Products Company, International Paper Corporation and Pactiv Corporation.  He was also a co-owner of Pressware International, a dual ovenable tray manufacturer for the consumer and retail industries.

Bob Strahan ■ Strahan Source, LLC.
Hilton Head, South Carolina

A graduate engineer from Yale University and a co-founder of The Source Alliance Bob spent his entire career of thirty eight years as an executive and owner in the printing ink industry.  He was associated with Thiele – Engdahl, ICI Specialty Inks, Sun Chemical and Strahan Ink and Lacquer where he focused on inks for rotogravure and flexography printing applications in the packaging market and on specialty coatings for the automotive and floor covering industries.

Verne Johnson ■ Verne Johnson & Associates, Inc.
Rochester, New York

For the past two decades, Verne has been recruiting for the Packaging Industry. His area of focus has been on Engineering, Technical, Manufacturing and Sales & Marketing job functions primarily within the flexible packaging arena. Prior to becoming a recruiter he held Sales and Marketing Management positions with Cryovac, Crown Zellerbach and Van Leer.

Prior to joining The Source Alliance George spent twenty five years with Sonoco Products, a global manufacturer of industrial and consumer packaging products.  Domestic and international responsibilities in sales, marketing and general management have provided George extensive packaging industry knowledge and contacts.

Ed spent more than thirty six years in sales and marketing management with Continental Plastics Container, a leading manufacturer of plastic bottles and containers for the food, household, automotive and other markets.  His knowledge of the plastic bottle industry, the blow molding technology, its suppliers and the markets served are extensive.

Griff Jones ■ The Griffin Group Inc.
Franklin, Tennessee

A graduate Metallurgical Engineer Griff spent thirty one years in quality and operations assignments for the aluminum and plastic industries.  This included positions as Director Operations for the Reynolds Metals Can Division and as Vice President Operations, NA for Schmalbach Lubeca.  His background and knowledge of metal and PET packaging and of the aluminum industry are wide ranging and broad.

Dave Reese ■ Reese Source & Associates, Ltd.
Charlotte, North Carolina

Beginning with Procter and Gamble Dave spent thirty two years in sales and marketing management.  His packaging background evolved through expanding assignments at General Electric Plastics, Shell Oil’s subsidiary Rampart Packaging, Blessings Corporation/Edison Plastics and General Management at OMNOVA Solutions.

Bob spent over thirty years with the Reynolds Metals Company in their Flexible and Rigid packaging businesses. He held several senior management sales and marketing positions in both the field and at corporate responsible for the sale of packaging products to key customers in the Food, Beverage, Pharmaceutical and Industrial markets.

Having a diverse packaging background, Larry has more than thirty years of industry experience.  His product and market knowledge includes paperboard, rigid plastics, flexible and metal containers having held senior sales, marketing and business leadership positions with American Can, James River/Fort James and Huhtamaki.
